Advancing Science workshops are open to K-12 science teachers in Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Perry and York Counties in Pennsylvania. We believe that our workshops are just one piece of the total package. We want teachers to not only attend the workshops, but also to use our services and equipment in their classrooms. So, in addition to our "first received, first registered" policy, we will also give priority registration to teachers at schools that have purchased service packages, teachers new to the program, and frequent program users. If you attend a lot of workshops, but rarely schedule visits or loans, you may be notified that you have been placed on a waiting list while we give others an opportunity to register. Similarly, public and private classroom teachers will be given priority over alternative school program teachers and non-teaching supervisors or program coordinators.
