Advancing Science has been approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education to provide Act 48 credit. Teachers need to provide their PPID number to receive Act 48 credit.

We also encourage school districts who participate in our program to include "high tech and hands-on" science in general and the Advancing Science program in particular as part of the District Professional Development Plan (PDP) that defines the professional needs of its staff.
